visitor Posted October 7, 2010 Report Posted October 7, 2010 Got it loaded up (sucked BAD)! Pulling it 600 miles to Iowa, where my best friend (a FANTASTIC mechanic) is going to pull the motor and tranny, and COMPLETLY rebuild them, as well as do a bunch of suspension work (some maintence and some performance), after thats done, one of my old classmates (now a bodyman) is going to fix all dents and paint the car (a bright blue) jambs and all.. I know most of ya dont care, but im excited! here it is loaded up- I will of course post up pics of progress.. Oh, and while im there, im picking this up for 300- Should be a good weekend Quote
MemphisMan Posted October 7, 2010 Report Posted October 7, 2010 Awww, leave the jambs white! Drive safe and keep us posted...can't wait to see the progress. Quote
Crazy K Posted October 7, 2010 Report Posted October 7, 2010 I prefer a white STE, but blue won't be too bad. The rims on that car should be color keyed to match the car... hench... make it white!!!!! but ni8ce finds and catches! Quote
94 olds vert Posted October 7, 2010 Report Posted October 7, 2010 Go with striker blue. Like on the 09 g8s. That color is hot. Quote

The rims on that car should be color keyed to match the car... hench... make it white!!!!! but ni8ce finds and catches! Ive always wanted an STE, and a Blue car.. figured might as well combine them! I will color match the wheels though I have my upholstery guy getting me a quote now, the seats are going to be suede/leather, black with blue stitching, suede headliner, etc (car currently has black interior, whoo hoo) Go with striker blue. Like on the 09 g8s. That color is hot. THANK YOU! The blue i picked was *close* but THAT is the color im looking for!!! Quote
jeremy Posted October 7, 2010 Report Posted October 7, 2010 get new wheels too.... STE wheels = Quote
visitor Posted October 7, 2010 Author Report Posted October 7, 2010 get new wheels too.... STE wheels = uhhhhh ya. they're pretty terrible. Ill likely be recycling them, unless someone wants/needs em. Quote
visitor Posted October 7, 2010 Author Report Posted October 7, 2010 What year is the GTP? Its a 1994. Pretty "base" for a gtp. No sunroof or HUD, or leather. I already have the hud out of a PAP car. leather shows up often there as well, so ill get that in time! Goal is to ultimatly set it up VERY similar to AWEB's car (love love love that car!) Quote
bronze93 Posted October 7, 2010 Report Posted October 7, 2010 I like the decals on the side. Haven't ever seen those. I have a 94 wonder where I can get them? Quote

Penglii Posted October 7, 2010 Report Posted October 7, 2010 Blue is a great color for GP sedans Quote
visitor Posted October 7, 2010 Author Report Posted October 7, 2010 Seems a good place for this question- what are the chances the 94 is prewired for HUD? It's a gtp. How bout the 93 STE? Quote
AL Posted October 7, 2010 Report Posted October 7, 2010 Pull out the gauge cluster and look for a plug Quote

visitor Posted October 9, 2010 Author Report Posted October 9, 2010 Got it picked up today! This doesn't look good... The whole filler neck of the radiator looks like this might need a new radiator? Thoughts? Quote
94 olds vert Posted October 9, 2010 Report Posted October 9, 2010 Looks like a good project. That radiator might be trashed. You could try to flush it, but that stuff looks crusty. Replacing it might be your best bet. Quote
WhatTheFehl Posted October 9, 2010 Report Posted October 9, 2010 So that's what the volume button looks like when you pull all the rubber off... She definitely has potential. Quote
94 olds vert Posted October 9, 2010 Report Posted October 9, 2010 Mike, I have that same volume button mod. Quote
