csrMark Posted September 29, 2010 Report Posted September 29, 2010 My 1996 Z34 Monte Carlo is going to the wreckers. Earlier this year, the car sat for a month or so. Got in to start it and it wouldn't start. Opened the hood and a squirrel's nest covered the whole engine bay. The little prick at all the wiring in the engine. This little prick had the nerve to approach me sitting on the porch shortly after his feast. Looks like I'm taking the car to the wreckers probably this week. BRUTAL...............RIP Z34 HERE IS A VIDEO I PUT ON YOUTUBE SHOWING THE DAMAGE, ETC. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zDEQN2rGKuI GRRRRR Quote
jeremy Posted September 29, 2010 Report Posted September 29, 2010 i just wanted to see a video of the squirrel nest, not your video sales pitch to sell parts from it Quote
94GPGTP Posted September 29, 2010 Report Posted September 29, 2010 Do you have a way to pull the steeringwheel? If so I'll take that. Quote
Euro Posted September 29, 2010 Report Posted September 29, 2010 Damn, that squirrel went to town. Quote
BXX Posted September 29, 2010 Report Posted September 29, 2010 Why not put a new harness in it??? They really arent too bad to remove and replace. just a bit time consuming Quote
Twenty Posted September 29, 2010 Report Posted September 29, 2010 I agree with BXX. I wouldn't consider a harness enough reason to junk an otherwise okay car. Quote
RobertISaar Posted September 29, 2010 Report Posted September 29, 2010 after pulling and reinstalling the whole C100 harness in the 95MC, i got that down to less than 2 hours going nice and slow(read: careful). Quote
xtremerevolution Posted September 29, 2010 Report Posted September 29, 2010 Where are you located and how much do you want for it? I'll tow it myself! Quote

slick Posted October 14, 2010 Report Posted October 14, 2010 Sounds like a good excuse to get another 90's FWD GM SBX off of the road. I think many more people need to follow suit. Quote
