ron350 Posted September 23, 2010 Report Posted September 23, 2010 What exactly is a white box rotor? I remember reading about members saying they used white box rotors but that is all I can remember. Quote
RobertISaar Posted September 23, 2010 Report Posted September 23, 2010 if it's what i'm used to, it's basically stuff a company didn't want to put their name on. that being said, i threw some on the MC sometime in 2007.... they've lasted quite some time compared to what they cost. Quote
ron350 Posted September 23, 2010 Author Report Posted September 23, 2010 So they come in a white box with no markings of any kind on the rotor? Quote
mra32 Posted September 23, 2010 Report Posted September 23, 2010 i have raybestos crappiest crap level rotors. They were like $12 -$20 a piece on rockauto. I generally think that crappy rotors and good pads make a good combo. Quote
Crazy K Posted September 24, 2010 Report Posted September 24, 2010 white box rotors are often the cheapest rotors that part stores carry. Basically they are brand X. Quote
RobertISaar Posted September 24, 2010 Report Posted September 24, 2010 autozone's valucrap line! Quote
WhatTheFehl Posted September 24, 2010 Report Posted September 24, 2010 Parts Master, Aimco, Auto Extra, Silver Brand... Quote
RobertISaar Posted September 24, 2010 Report Posted September 24, 2010 i like my parts master rotors! cheap as hell and took quite some time with a shithead teenager driving to warp them! Quote
white4d96 Posted September 25, 2010 Report Posted September 25, 2010 Me like the white box rotors! (cuz that's all I can afford!) Just ordered some Autopart Int'l rotors and some closeout ceramic pads off RockAuto for my birthday present. $69.xx shipped to my door, should be here Wednesday. Maybe now my car won't shake itself apart when I think about the brake pedal Quote
Night Fury Posted September 25, 2010 Report Posted September 25, 2010 Got some white box rear rotors, I want to say I only paid like $20 for the pair. I'm sure they'll do the job fine on the 91 Quote
