GutlessSupreme Posted September 5, 2010 Report Share Posted September 5, 2010 (edited) So, I believe only since yesterday, the TSTE has been throwing Codes 24 (VSS low) and 32 (EGR). The EGR I dunno, I'm gonna try swapping a different valve I guess. But how can I possibly be getting a code 24 if my ECM and HUD are displaying the correct vehicle speed? I did do some changes to the wiring since I did the Getrag swap, but it just started throwing this code and the speed shows fine (disregarding the cluster, anyway). What's weird too is that my CEL isn't on, I'm only reading these through ALDL data with TunerPro, but I should double check to make sure the bulb's coming on during self-check. edit: actually, my service manual has no information in regards to having code 32 set with a vacuum EGR valve, only info for having the digital one. RobertISaar Posted September 5, 2010 Report Share Posted September 5, 2010 i only get code 24s when i'm revving the piss out of the engine while not moving... and even then, speed still shows correctly.. i believe by "low" it's meaning that what is supposed to be a ground circuit isn't really ground, it has voltage on it.
