Highmilagecutlass
What is the correct procedure for testing these sensors off the car ? Ohms? Continuity ? I also would like to test the I.A.C ?or is it I.A.S. ? The engine is a 1994 3100 in a Cutlass Supreme. Thanks in advance:thumbsup: Shawn
Galaxie500XL
Shawn; Well, the TPS is basically a rheostat, the MAF a heated wire, and the IAC a stepper motor. However, I know of no way someone with basic tools is going to be able to test these off the car. A scantool can help with troubleshooting these devices on a running motor, but for the average guy at home, that's about the only way I can think of to test.
