Short answer: none of them unless you are extremely lucky to find a working one still. Almost every last one of them died years ago. Getting one rebuilt is about $250.

You can however use one from a 95+ chevy car/truck with very few modifications.

the factory one looks like this:

I found a NOS '95 for my Oldsmobile at a place called Replacementradios on the Internet. It was $169.00, and came with a warranty, I forget how long.

It still had the plastic on the faceplate, and I've had no problems.

Maybe they've got one for your Lumina?

Hope that helps!

I've done the 95+ radio. I had to move two wires for the backlighting to work, and move the HVAC's wire connector.. but it was worth it.

Only bad thing with mine is it says "OLDSMOBILE" on the face, but it had both the CD and cassette. Of course, since I have a Cutlass, that was OK. They might have one for your Lumina, I don't know.

you could... let me get back to this when I'm not sick from work and screaming at assholes. but yeah, find a donor plug to help you see the differences... and if nothing else you could splice them in or use a Scosche adapter.....

I figured out a way to determine whether a JY radio will work or not. That radio specifically. First off take the radio out of the car obviously. Then take the amp off the top (3 5mm screws). Then pull it from the radio, there will be 2 plugs that hold it on. Now you'll see the guts of the radio, plus the little CD unit. Find all the screws for the CD unit (again, all 5mm screws). Once you get all the screws out pull the unit out and look on the bottom of it. I'm guessing they were either recalled or just plain had service done to them because if so there should be a little note on the bottom of it that says something about it being serviced on some date. I have found 3 working Delco radios in the junkyard. They play normal CDs along with burnt CDs. They are a little touchy when its really cold outside but for the most part they work. This isnt a sure-fire way of finding out whether they work or not but all the times I've gotten a radio with the service note on the CD unit they have all worked. I have one for my 93 Cavalier that works and then an extra out of a Buick I have, that I might put in the Grand Prix. Just my .02.

I have a CD player from an S10 I got from my mechanic. It looks similar to the lumina one, just the buttons are a different color I believe. I will post it for sale here if someone is interested.
