Euro
Wow that's pretty in depth haha. You'll get all of them in no time for sure! I wish I had the energy to do that for my 98 pace car database
RobertISaar
good thing they only made ~100,000 MCs in 1995, huh? strangely enough, like 60-65% of them had the LQ1, i would have expected more L82s....
Euro
That is odd so many got the LQ1. I would've thought for sure it would've been a higher 3100 count. Maybe everybody was excited to see the 3.4 in the new Z34
RobertISaar
well, according to some GM stuff, more MCs were ordered for 1995 alone than TOTAL lumina sales in 1994... now, i took a look at some of the documents i've compiled earlier, and there were 10,866 lumi coupes and 75,753 lumi sedans made in 94... HAHA, DISREGARD THAT, I SUCK COCKS!! in 95, there were 39,628 LQ1 and 61,130 L82 cars... so 64.8% were 3100... still, there were 86,619 94 lumis, and 100,758 montes...so most were SPECIFICALLY ordered as such. the number of 95 lumis, for reference, was 264,688(15,988 of which got the LQ1)... so, a metric shitton on 95 1Ws were made! Crazy K
I'd like to understand more of what you re doing, Rob... I notice for instance the first vin in your post above was invalid (2G1WX12X9S9100808)... and i batfoxed that to double check and I am correct.... you probably meant: 2G1WX12X9S9100802 which would be the proper serial number to match that check digit........ damn I am good at math. I did batfax 100 of these in this range though, and posted below the number of records for each.... Which of course leads me to ask: why do you only have a few 0 numbers? example: You have listed 2G1WX12X9S9100878 0; what happened with 2G1WX12X7S9100877? It is a zero record report as well. here's a batch i did with all number that came up: 2G1WX12X2S9114900 0 2G1WX12X4S9114901 0 2G1WX12X6S9114902 0 2G1WX12X8S9114903 0 2G1WX12XXS9114904 0 2G1WX12X1S9114905 0 2G1WX12X3S9114906 0 2G1WX12X5S9114907 11 **Stolen Vehicle record found.** 2G1WX12X7S9114908 0 2G1WX12X9S9114909 0 2G1WX12X5S9114910 0 2G1WX12X7S9114911 16 2G1WX12X9S9114912 O 2G1WX12X0S9114913 0 2G1WX12X2S9114914 16 2G1WX12X4S9114915 14 2G1WX12X6S9114916 0 2G1WX12X8S9114917 0 2G1WX12XXS9114918 0 2G1WX12X1S9114919 22 2G1WX12X8S9114920 13 2G1WX12XXS9114921 20 2G1WX12X1S9114922 0 2G1WX12X3S9114923 0 2G1WX12X5S9114924 2 2G1WX12X7S9114925 0 2G1WX12X9S9114926 0 2G1WX12X0S9114927 8 2G1WX12X2S9114928 0 2G1WX12X4S9114929 0 2G1WX12X0S9114930 0 2G1WX12X2S9114931 0 2G1WX12X4S9114932 0 2G1WX12X6S9114933 0 2G1WX12X8S9114934 0 2G1WX12XxS9114935 0 2G1WX12X1S9114936 0 2G1WX12X3S9114937 11 2G1WX12X5S9114938 0 2G1WX12X7S9114939 0 2G1WX12X3S9114940 0 2G1WX12X5S9114941 0 2G1WX12X7S9114942 0 2G1WX12X9S9114943 0 2G1WX12X0S9114944 0 2G1WX12X2S9114945 0 2G1WX12X4S9114946 5 2G1WX12X6S9114947 0 2G1WX12X8S9114948 4 2G1WX12XxS9114949 15 2G1WX12X6S9114950 0 2G1WX12X8S9114951 O 2G1WX12XXS9114952 0 2G1WX12X1S9114953 0 2G1WX12X3S9114954 0 2G1WX12X5S9114955 0 2G1WX12X7S9114956 0 2G1WX12X9S9114957 0 2G1WX12X0S9114958 0 2G1WX12X2S9114959 0 2G1WX12X9S9114960 0 2G1WX12X0S9114961 0 2G1WX12X2S9114962 0 2G1WX12X4S9114963 15 2G1WX12X6S9114964 0 2G1WX12X8S9114965 0 2G1WX12XxS9114966 0 2G1WX12X1S9114967 0 2G1WX12X3S9114968 0 2G1WX12X5S9114969 0 2G1WX12X1S9114970 0 2G1WX12X3S9114971 0 2G1WX12X5S9114972 21 2G1WX12X7S9114973 9 2G1WX12X9S9114974 0 2G1WX12X0S9114975 0 2G1WX12X2S9114976 8 2G1WX12X4S9114977 0 2G1WX12X6S9114978 0 2G1WX12X8S9114979 0 2G1WX12X4S9114980 0 2G1WX12X6S9114981 0 2G1WX12X8S9114982 0 2G1WX12XXS9114983 8 2G1WX12X1S9114984 14 2G1WX12X3S9114985 0 2G1WX12X5S9114986 0 2G1WX12X7S9114987 0 2G1WX12X9S9114988 0 2G1WX12X0S9114989 0 2G1WX12X7S9114990 0 2G1WX12X9S9114991 0 2G1WX12X0S9114992 0 2G1WX12X2S9114993 0 2G1WX12X4S9114994 9 2G1WX12X6S9114995 0 2G1WX12X8S9114996 0 2G1WX12XxS9114997 0 2G1WX12X1S9114998 0 2G1WX12X3S9114999
RobertISaar
i am trying to go through with mfewtrail's method as suggested in the TGP database thread. basically swapping the check digit for either 2 or 9 to make the system attempt to autocorrect it based on all other digits in the VIN, and then if it does it's thing right, it will suggest a known real VIN, or take me directly to a results page. either way, i have a VIN that i record, but if i see 0 reports, i mark it as such and continue. it seems to be working well. SO, if they have a VIN, it will have to be pulled manually since they should not show up on carfax, or the VIN will have to be discovered via other methods. RobertISaar
800 series is finished, only found 1 rare RPO... not expecting the 900 series to fare much better, but at least jumping forward to the first known brickyard VIN will start producing results. digitaloutsider
Why don't you guys contact the people at CompNine and ask if they have some API you can use to run a specific number of VINs/VINs that reach a specific criteria? Seems like that would be a lot easier than doing this shit manually.

RobertISaar
you're only supposed to be able to check 6 VINs per IP address per day.... which is why that big list of proxies is in the beginning of the thread. it seems that HMA has a LOT of address though, since i have been able to get through 50 VINs through their 9 servers, then start at the beginning again after ~30 mins and i can still run more VINs. run 6 random VINs and you'll see the message that comes up.
