PM3 + obd 2

ok so im looking to use a pm3 system as it came in my tgp, but im 3.8 swapping it and also making it obd2.

 

 

if i was to use a 98 pcm and wire harness, my car obiously wont hae the plugs for the pm3 IIRC (havent looked at car yet)

 

so hwat am i looking at for someone that has been in thier engine bay recenlty

I don't think the PM3 and ECM wiring cross paths anywhere except the cluster? I could be wrong, I guess I haven't looked at the ABS wiring specifically before.

PMIII is a completely standalone system from the cars ECM.

yes im aware they dont "cross paths"

 

but if i get rid of my wire harness (3.1 for 3.8) and lets say use a 96 dash for the obd2, then the power connection may not be there.

Since you're already doing all that work anyway, why not get the ABS unit off of the '96 GP? Or the 3.8 vehicle you're using?

the pm3 unit = launch under full boost, plus alot more room for a downpipe

why not remove the wiring from the original dash harness and make the necessary connections for the pmIII to work with the new dash harness?
