old problem still here

Ok so i have a pretty crappy idling problem. I thought vac leak and checked all hoses. Found one bad hose from egr to TB. the short one rubber one the connects to the plastic one. I replaced that and no change. There are no codes any more so i think i can rule out egr valve but would bad sensors cause this and not trip a code? i changed the O2 sensor today, or i should say had it changed and there is a slight difference in idle. The rpms dont jump around as much, ie: 400-1000 over and over. Now its more of just a plain rough idle, somewheres of 500-800rpms. I thought mabey IAC?

I am lost what to do, the great knowledge of experienced Wbody owners is greatly wanted!

1994 3.4L DOHC.

Had this problem since the day i bought the car. First couple weeks codes were tripped but i have no way of accessing and i believe they are gone since i have disconnected the battery a few times since then.

do an idle relearn

unhook the batter for 5 - 10 minutes, then hook it back up, start the car, put it in gear and hold the brake for 10 mins or so. then shut it off, start it up and do it again.... (not sure if the second time is needed, but some people post it, some don't)

THAT SOB tripped a code 6min into the relearn. it also ran crappy as i drove it for the next 20 min. But since then whihc was 630 it has ran like a champ!

So i lied. It has ran shitty all day. Well, i guess this morning it ran fine atleast after it was warming for 10 minutes. Then it sat and idled for another 35min cuz i locked my keys in my car while i went back to get a scrapper for the frost on the windows. Its been a shitty day and i hate automatic locks.

ANything else i can try? Although i did only have to time do the idle relearn thing once maybe ill have to try it again but until then, anyone got better ideas?

take the black bottom panel off, and I think it's the blue wire with a white line.... can't quite remember.... but it disables your auto-locking, I took it off of mine,

I've never been locked out of my vehicles.... I always have a spare key....

and on the truck, it was never an issue, the lock was fuggered and you could open it with anything.

My car used to randomly idle like shit, so I blocked the egr off and voila! No more problems.... Might aswell try? And BTW it will trip an SES with the EGR bypassed simply with a gasket or plate, but left plugged in. It's worth a try right?

ill try that, should i disconnect the hose from it? how would i block it off.

This is the only time i have been locked out of a running car. who ever used the car before me must have always used the auto locks because the door locks and trunk locks are froze and wont turn at all. I have tried turning them pretty hard, but not hard enough to bend the key. My only spare was with my dad because he has to move my car out of the way every morning before he goes to work.
