carl Posted September 30, 2003 Report Posted September 30, 2003 Hey I was wondering if anybody wanted a Phenolic intake or TB spacer? I was thinking about making them for the 3100/3400s and the 3.4 but I dont know if theres enough of a market for them? Id probably need a couple of orders before I could produce them. They would all be made on a CNC mill. What do you guys think? Carl Quote
The Burning Rom Posted September 30, 2003 Report Posted September 30, 2003 So it would look something like this then? http://www.airaid.com/200-583_chevy.asp Quote
GRANDFURY Posted September 30, 2003 Report Posted September 30, 2003 That site said it had one for 89' 2.8 S-10 would that work on a 89' 2.8 GP? Quote
carl Posted September 30, 2003 Author Report Posted September 30, 2003 I thought It would look more square? This would be phenolic plastic, instead on aluminum. No heat transfer Quote

slick Posted October 1, 2003 Report Posted October 1, 2003 Throttlebody Spacer: http://www.60degreev6.com/index.php?p=pages&pid=22 I didn't think they added any power, and that proved it. Quote
carl Posted October 1, 2003 Author Report Posted October 1, 2003 wow, nobody likes TB spacers? What about upper intake spacers? Quote
PJB Posted October 1, 2003 Report Posted October 1, 2003 I had one on my '93 S10 and it didnt do shit for power or gas mileage. All it did was make the truck occasionally backfire. Quote
Robby1870 Posted October 1, 2003 Report Posted October 1, 2003 wow, nobody likes TB spacers? What about upper intake spacers? You mean like b/n the plenum and lower intake? If so, there's a thread on here where some one did that with a one inch spacer and saw very little gain, if any Robby Quote
