L67 Will Not Start!!

First off Im 100% this has been covered b4 but search bar is hatin on me!

Twice in about 3 weeks my 97 Regal Gs has just stopped (stalled). Both times I had ~.125 tank of gas and both times I was slowing for a turn. The first time I didnt think of gas at first and (for whatever reason) added oil. But of course I started thinking it must be my Fuel Pump. Mech said it was probs just bad gas. Went back in 2hrs and it started fine also added gas treatment.

Last tuesday was time 2 and it still wont start after almost a week. It DID start once but I walked away for like 45 sec and it died. me and my mech pulled the fuel lines and the pump is def working fine (just ask my driveway). I have added 3 gallons to the tank. I thought compression but he said that it would have to be more than one cylinder for it to not even start. So now were are down to the ignition system (packs and ICM).

What do other L67 savvy people have to say on this??

...Im hoping that its nothing expensive cuz I aint got it and im just tryna save to get rid of it in about 8 months..

Check this thread out: Link Sounds like it could be a issue with the fuel pump resistor.

I had an issue where I would be driving and the car would just cut off like I hit the key off. Sometimes it would be coming out to start the car. Turned out to be the harness coming from the ignition control module (ICM) going to the main harness.

I also don't think my car would crank over when it was shorting. If I wiggled the harness just right it would start up again. Not sure if its the same but that was the issue for me.
