Octavarium454
I got a friend who has had a severe electrical issue with his 98 GTP Coupe. The fuel pump will randomly decide to stop functioning and not prime any fuel, it even happens while driving. He said he can hear the fuel pump start clicking when this happens. Now to me it seems like a short, but here are some other details that may be able to help determine what is causing this problem. Brand new fuel pump, he has actually put in TWO brand new fuel pumps and has had the same problem, that is how we know it is electrical. The sunroof will not work when the fuel pump is going all wack and start making the same clicking sounds, but once the fuel pump starts working the sunroof will function normally again. Not much to go on I know, but I'm stumped as to what it can be.
Jonpro03
I guess a good place to start would be the fuel pump relay.
Euro
I guess a good place to start would be the fuel pump relay. x2. That's what I was going to suggest as well.
runt
If I'm not mistaken the 97 and 98's had some major issues with their relays.
