Hippie
Found a mint gray cloth bucket seat interior from a '94 GP SE for $75 for EVERYTHING and want to put in my '88. The rear package shelf on the '94 looks a little different than my '88 and I'm wondering if the upper back seat cushion interchanges. Anybody know ? Thanks. ismellrealbad
it should fit. how does the rear deck look different?
Hippie
it should fit. how does the rear deck look different? My '88 is recessed below the edge of the seat a couple inches with raised speaker boxes and the seat back is raised at each box. The '94 seat is raised in the same place but the shelf is flush with the seat edge all the way across. They look like they should fit but I want to be sure before I start yanking the interior. ismellrealbad
i know what your talking about. ive seen that kind of rear deck before but i cant remember it well enough to assure you that the seat will interchange with it. im almost positive they will, but if not, whats stopping you from swapping out the rear decks too? Hippie
I have a job, they run my ass off and by the time I get home I'm so fried I don't want to do a damn thing. I'm on vacation this week. Trying to get the garage straightened around so I can work on the Monte this Winter but also want to get the GP fixed up so I can peddle it in the Spring. Looks like Illinois will be changing their law on new driver's and the youngest won't be getting a solo license until he's 18 so no need for the GP. Suck's for him. 1badtgp
It should fit fine. The only real difference is the speaker enclosures on the 88 are above the carpet peices, and seperately removeable. The newer ones are under the carpet. You'll have to grab the speaker anclosues as well, but they will work
