bronze93
The front end of the GTP feels like it is floating when I'm driving it. I just replaced the outer tie rods and had an alignment done. Could it be tire sidewall sway? The tires on there are junk with sidewall dry rot. Any help appreciated. White93z34
Well you say your tires are junk, and I'd guess that your struts are 16 years old now. So maybe start with struts?
birdman
the struts were bad on my lumina and hitting bumps over 35mph resulted in an almost perpetual up and down bounce, especially on the freeway.
bronze93
The struts appear to be good. I tested them by pushing up and down on the fenders. I feels almost like driving a car with no sway bar.
xtremerevolution
How are the sway bar bushings? I'm going to go with bad tires. Don't ever underestimate tires. Sent from my T-Mobile myTouch 3G using Tapatalk
RobertISaar
How are the sway bar bushings? I'm going to go with bad tires. Don't ever underestimate tires. considering they are the only part of a vehicle to tough the road(normally), a LOT of issues could be caused by them. Addicted to eaton
you know, Having replaced them on two 95's, 89, and a 96. You would think i would know that LOL!
bronze93
Well I may have a starting point over than tires for this problem. The PO decided I only needed 1 of the 2 bolts for the back of the subframe. I will have to check for more missing bolts.
