technically, gmpt has a forum for every GM automobile, but if nobody uses a forum, is it really there? Their engine forums are useful, but their forum for the Regal, at least, is useless. I'm guessing the 88 forum would be similar. General rule of thumb, if it's gotta V8 it's probably RWD. V8's don't like to be sideways, and RWD cars need more power at the crank because less of it gets to the wheels. Yes there are FWD cars with V8's, but it's a relatively new idea, and a somewhat unpopular one.

I'm pretty sure the delta 88's a RWDer, especially if it's older than about '95 (I don't think they even made them much later than that, if they even made them that long.) But, as always, I could be wrong.

88's have been fwd since around '87. They made them up to '98 I believe, maybe later. All the fwd 88's have 3.8's.

The V8 ones are big boxy rwd cars. The V6 ones are smaller fwd cars.

Heres the last 3 body styles:

Hell.. those Delta 88's take a lickin' and keep on tickin'. A buddy of mine had an '89 Delta.. we probably put that thing through anything you could imagine. Damn good cars.

if you want power get something like a truck for the winter, they have plenty of power and they will get you where you are going in the winter, plus a generally large aftermarket, depends on what truck you get, may not have the speed or accelration of a truck but some trucks look cool and they sound better since they have a v8, but whatever your likes and dislikes are, its up to you

i spent so much money on my regal n i wanna get a new car asap n he told me 500 bucks it mine

i really do want a truck but i dont trust my self in a truck right now

I stand corrected

Hey, Haz, check the Auction Watch section, I just posted a few 96 Regal's, one of them's even in the south. Check eBay, a lot of the one's I found were in the south, I only posted one here though.
