jtwmechanic
listen. although i have been posting for help with my swap wiring i am well expeienced with mechanics and engine rebuilding. the blower internals i am not sure about using chemicals on, i haven't much experience with them. they are few and far between around here. everything else should be able to be sprayed down with some engine degreaser and pressure washed. usually is helpful to try and scrape off the heavier debri before hand. scotch-brite pads work great for the mating surfaces. i use a air die grinder with scotch bite disks. fast and easy and the disks are cheap. when done washing is a good idea to blow them dry with an air hose and lube the valve stems and any other moving parts. on the blower however i would take more care in how it was cleaned. most likely would be best to take it completely apart, clean it, inspect it, buy all new gaskets and reassemble . if your talking about cleaning an entire engine that is assembled already then just make sure all openings into the motor are plugged up. best to cover your throttle body and coil packs up completely. 9lumina6
when i had eveerything apart......i actually used sumple green on the inside of the Blower case....TB...LIM....worked like a charm. (Obviously taking out all the sensors, and covering up the needle bearings in the M90 case.)
Addicted to eaton
I am thinking of having my rotors stripped and Powder coated.
mfewtrail
Any engine degreaser and some small detailing brushes to agitate it(the really dirty parts) will take care of engine grime and such.
jtwmechanic
if you are not going to clean the inside then at least blow it out and make sure no foriegn material gets inside it.
