Disc wouldn't eject it did eventually but w/some lovely noises. Any body recognize this code? Might have to take the stereo out and clean it.Or is it the death knoll of my O.E.M. stereo. Thanks Mike

Its probably dead. The cd mechanisim in factory radios tend to go bad pretty often.

If you remove the radio... does it have a T shaped heatsink? those are the worst ones of that double din style to fail.

I found a NOS online for $169.00...but not sure if they still have any. It still had the plastic over the faceplate! I bought one for my '95..got tired of finding bad ones in the junkyard, and preferred the OEM radio, since my car is a convertible. I'd rather not have someone using a pocketknife on the top just to steal a radio.
