BN
I think it gets in from the convertible top. Well liner drain is working correctly and trunk weatherstrip looks good. Anyone else have this problem. Would drilling a small hole in spare tire well be a bad idea?
Crazy K
drill a hole. make sure the hose on the outlet is working properly under the stow area. they tend to leak or disconnect.
Jonpro03
I had a tail light that leaked water into the trunk. I drilled a hole too.
Galaxie500XL
Check the seams in the well liner. On my '95, the seams are begininning to separate, and the trunk is getting wet. Had nearly 5 inches of water back there when I bought the car.
DavidHowell3633
In my case, a spot weld on the body channel top left had rusted through and a little POR-15 putty sealed it up- dry trunk.
