Redfox340
Got this morning for an Cold Air / Ram Air intake design... no name; good procedure outline. Take a look; us Cutlass's / Grand Prix's owners could benifit. What do you think? If you don't need foglights, and you have access to a fab shop, here's what I did for about 30 bucks! Using the original foglight mounts as a pattern, fabricate intake tunnels with a 2" outlet. Using cheap aluminum flex tubing, run both sides under the radiator and connect with a PVC 'Y' fitting. Do not restrict air through the radiator! Make final run to side of airbox. You will have to fab another connector for the airbox. DO NOT close off the original intake duct!Install screen in front of the foglite/intake to stop debris. Also install a cheap flapper valve in the final tubing run. The reason for this is rain! It will suck up water! This is why you need to keep the original intake duct. Horses increased, and the outside sound of air sucking in is awesome! All of this setup is removable in case you want to sell the car. Just keep the plug you cut out of airbox and glue it back with epoxy. Anchor all of tubing with nylon ty-wraps. If you are mechanically adept, this is easy. Have fun!! - Erik

godofthunder
Argh...i had an idea a lot like taht recently. But...instead it was moreso hooking up the little grill areas we have (i mea, its only like 5" long and 2" tall. It would then wrap arround the radiator somehow, and then into the TB. Another was to use the other holes down there. I almost did this on my ciera i had since it had all this extra room. I had two fogligts, and more openings arround down there. That is a nice idea...but i really like the look of the fogs jon
