This is on my 1990 TGP. My PMIII is less than 6 months old. I believe my TCC is sticking because the car will die after long rides when coming to a stop. To combat this I have been stabbing the gas hard to release the TCC solenoid right before stopping. However, it looks like I blew the cover off the PMIII doing this. My red brake light went on and I lost brakes. That is when I noticed that the master cylinder lid was up and off some and it appears air got in the lines. My questions are:

Since this happened it appears that the PMIII motor runs nonstop. Do you think this is just a symptom of air in the lines? Or is there a bigger issue here. I have no desire to drive the car until I fix the TCC or this will just happen again, but I am wondering if I screwed up the new PMIII as well? Might sell the damn car if that is the case.
