Mysteriphys
hey everyone, first I'll explain why I'm asking, and then ask, just so you have a heads up on the situation. 94 olds cutty supreme S body is in decent shape, engine runs well. #1. The transmission has a delayed engage, started happening a few months ago, flushed and refilled (with new filter) 3 weeks ago, still doing it. #2. car loses all power around right hand turns. #3. Needs a new filler tube #4. tie rod ends and ball joints are gone #5. Axels are also on their way out so the question: should I dump it and get something else, or should I start fixing/paying to have things fixed. I'm getting fed up trying to buy parts to fix it myself and finding out I need a bunch of special tools. I'm used to 1/2 ton trucks and classics... but I have a baby now and I need a car or at least something like a blazer... so what do?
alec_b
How good of shape is the body in? That's not a ton of parts, but the transmission issue could become expensive. Since you have a baby and no time to work on it you may be better off finding another one in better shape.
