jayman
94 cutlass L67 Swap from H-Body hey guys. finally got the parts i needed to get this pig moving, now that it drives, it vibrates like a bastard while taking off, and seems way sluggish. the powers there while in neutral and park, no hesitation and it runs real good. i checked the codes and i got a code for the TCC pressure solenoid. anyone have this problem? it only showed up once i put the ECU from a GTP in. the pins line up according to Mitchel. its telling me to change the solenoid but i really don't wanna do it lol Is it possible that the solenoid is NFG? Or am i still looking at wiring problems here.... Thanks guys Edited April 24, 2010 by jayman

jayman
so i had my first hwy run with her last night, and seems to be stuck at 3rd gear. then i come off the ramp and up to the light. then go to take off and its still stuck in 3rd.... until i shut it off and go again itll go back to 1st gear.. very shaky off the line then its fine after it gets going.. little worried. i now have to drive this immediately due to my other car being toast. anybody have some ideas? RobertISaar
sounds like the tranny got stuck into fail-safe mode... which could be caused by high tranny temps or an electrical issue.
