CanadianGTP
Hey, gotta quik question.... In my 92 GTP if I pull out the clutch at anything more than 2500RPM and floor it my front wheels start to spin and then I get the worst wheel hop ever! It doesn't shudder through shifts tho, even if I powershift it. Is it normal for the front to shudder like this or do I have a bad motor mount? The tourque strut on the top is tight, so Im not sure. Thanks for any help guys.....
Redfox340
Which wheel hops? Driver or passenger side? Sounds like Torque Steer more than anything else, but I would double check all bolts / mounts. Also, double check tire pressure and age of the struts. And if it is TS... damn... you've got some serious over-power issues... - Erik
CanadianGTP
They both hop/shudder, just like the 99 Mustang Cobra's with the independant rear do when you take off. I don't know how old my struts are, but they seem just fine, I could be wrong tho..... What get's me though....is if it was a bad motor mount somewhere, then wouldn't it "clunk" or something on shifts???? I don't get it, does anyone else's 5spd W-body do this???
