Well, for now i'm going with a 18 inch vibrant res and straight pipes. 2.5 from dp to y then 2.25 back to 2 inch C6 Vette Tips

question on placement of resonator. should i go in the stock location, or where the cat would be? will it change the tone will a longer pipe after the res if in the cat location?.....possibly deeper?

i'm no expert, but assuming all other things remain the same, i don't see it making a difference... other than the resonator getting hotter and possibly worn out quicker in the cat location.

 

this might be relevant, but maybe not, i really don't know, has to do with tubing length.
