slick
Got the 91-93 cam carriers tore down to just the cogs and cams. I've got the 15mm bolts out of the ends of the cam cogs, however they appear to be pressed on somehow. I've already snapped 1 pulley puller, I'd really like to avoid snapping another. Whats the procedure to get the cogs off? Afterwards, will the cams slide right out? I noticed that there are to bolts that look like a 1/4" extension will fit into (after I get the cogs off). Perhaps these are the cam stops? Thanks, Chris
spiderw31
You need this to pull the cogs: http://www.etoolcart.com/search.aspx?find=J-38616 and something like this to hold the puller while you are torquing on it: http://www.etoolcart.com/camholderlis38220.aspx. In a pinch though, you could do what I did. After that though, I'm not sure. I pulled the sprockets on mine, but thats as far as I went.
