Rebuilding Turbo

So has anyone done a DIY rebuild on your turbo? I have a stock TGP turbo that leaks like a CIV. I just ordered a Garrett T25 rebuild kit and going to attempt to do it myself.. multiple sites say you can mark the compressor wheel before removal and should maintain ballance... I ordered the kit and parts on are the way.... anything i need to know before i jump in and tear it apart?
