im so confused. Everything looks good. Balljoints and tie rod ends are new. what could be causing a balljoint sounding knock when coming to a stop? sounds like its coming from the front drivers side. Makes this knock when going down my driveway too.

the unavailable 94gpgtp say it may be your lower control arm bushing and wants to know how many miles are on the car.

i am avaiable now.. My TGP has 127,000 on it and i had the same clunk.. When i did my poly bushings the clunk went away.. so its your lower control arm bushings..

Thats what i thought it was. It made the most sense.. Thanks robert. The car has 157k on it btw.

 

Also a cookie will be awarded to who ever sends me a link to the write up on poly control arm bushings.

I get a clunk like that whenever I let off the clutch in my GP from a standstill or if the car jerks between gears. I feel like it's something with the strut that's shifting when the CV joint twists. Doesn't happen in reverse.
