Artemis
Weird subject I know. I'm swapping out my 95 LQ1 + PCM for a 96 LQ1 + PCM and I was wondering if I should be concerned about VATS. Will the 96 PCM have a different resistance value for VATS? Or am I overthinking?
RobertISaar
the VATS module looks for a resistance on the key. if it sees the correct one, it will send a signal to the PCM at like 30 or 50Hz. as long as that frequency didn't change when the OBD1-OBD2 change happened, you're fine. Crazy K
the module will work with either PCM. just make sure you get it all wired in fine.
