at least the seats will be familiar. i THINK the ones in the 95-99 are almost identical to the ones in the later cuttys.

similair yes, but the monte ones are a lil bit more comfortable haha

More than likely the Passkey harness. Look along the steering column for a small three wire harness, typically in a orange (I think) shroud of insulation. Maybe simply be unplugged or damaged.

My Lumina wouldn't start randomly and would have to wait 3 min for it to start again. For a year I would spray the key and ignition with electrical contact cleaner about every month. Then it started not starting more often and just wiried in my own resistors.

Does the MC not start every time even after waiting 3+ min or so? This is assuming there is power to the car (like the radio and headlights work still). I would try to clean the key and spray the ignition with electrical contact cleaner and see if that help, or here is the site I used to bypass my passkey:

ive been doing some reading online, and it seems like the VATS system is very possibly malfunctioning? and a quick fix is to put a resistor in line with the wires coming from the key lock switch.

i mean the guys only asking $600 for it, has a new tranny and like $400 worth of other new parts. i saw pictures of it, body and interior look to be in decent shape.

check the plate under the coil packs, if its corroded just sand it down, its how they get spark...its hard to explain.

has the car sat all winter and been like snowed on?

do you mean the mounting plate or the metal plate thing on the ignition module thing?

he said the security light acts normal (stays on for about 3 sec's and then turns off). but it still could be the lock cylinder right?

cause i think it would atleast turn over if there was something wrong with the icm.
