crazyd
My '92 GTP has the Delco 12-speaker system with cassette and EQ. While a friend and I were taking it apart to connect a 1/8" plug into the cassette audio wires we came across a wire marked AUX. We could find no trigger to enable it, though. Even tried sending a signal through it but no trigger. Does anyone know what this is and how to activate it?
88red4cyl
My guess would be that its an early version of the AUX setup in the later radios (the AUX button controls a cd changer or tape deck through a second harness that connects to the back of the radio), or your radio was just not equipped to do that but has the wire anyway...
