godofthunder Posted September 24, 2003 Report Posted September 24, 2003 I may be buying a center console top (armrest) from PJB, and its blue, but my interior is black. But, i figured for the time being, maybe go ahead and get his...but it will need to be painted. Some of my main concerns, are... will it look right? will it rub off? how long will it last? Im just currious about all this before i buy it. I still have yet to get to the yard, and also i think i may glue mine...but want input on this jon Quote
MaroonRegal Posted September 24, 2003 Report Posted September 24, 2003 There are paints for plastics. For some stupid reason I can't find them at my parts stores here, so just go straight for the hardware store. Quote
GRANDFURY Posted September 26, 2003 Report Posted September 26, 2003 Yeah man go buy some KRYLON FUSION thats what I used on my interior peices and it worked great, no priming or sanding just clean the part very well and spray it on, after three days it totally fuses with hte plastic and is chip resistant. Plus the paint dries in like an hour and has a nice finish. Quote
