Brandon72 Posted March 8, 2010 Report Posted March 8, 2010 I was not getting a good seal on my new fpr, so had to pull the fuel rail. When I pulled the fuel rail, all the injectors came out with with it. I checked over all the injectors, and most of them have hair line cracks. The car runs pretty good and no fuel leaks. Is this a good time for new injectors? Again, no fuel leaks and don't need or want to spend $ just to be spending it. I also don't want to wait till fuel leaks onto a hot engine. The car has 215,000 miles on it and just dumped $700 in the last 4 months. Thanks, Brandon Quote
RobertISaar Posted March 8, 2010 Report Posted March 8, 2010 injectors are fairly cheap insurance, you might as well... Quote
Brandon72 Posted March 8, 2010 Author Report Posted March 8, 2010 Is there anything wrong with reman'd injectors? Found some on RockAuto for $28/pc with core and 1yr warranty. Quote
BXX Posted March 9, 2010 Report Posted March 9, 2010 I would get injectors from a junkyard before reman'd ones.. Quote
