RobertISaar
you are SOL, as you are OBD 1.5 they have chips, and are tuneable, but are a PITA due to being MAF...

If you are really set on wanting a tune, You could swap to OBD II and have it tuned on a dyno.
Galaxie500XL
I've seen several comments along this line, and am curious. I've got a '95 LQ1, what sort of gains could I expect, and still keep the car reasonably useful for daily driving? I don't want to make a race car out of it, but I wouldn't be disappointed with about 25-30 more horsepower... you are SOL, as you are OBD 1.5 they have chips, and are tuneable, but are a PITA due to being MAF... ^ This man speaks the truth. Galaxie500XL
Sounds as if I wanted that, I'd be better off with an L67 swap... I've seen several comments along this line, and am curious. MonteCarloDude
I have heard many times headers alone on an LQ1 will drop your ET 0.5. With full bolt ons i have heard of them getting well into the 14's. Add 5 speed for better effect.
Galaxie500XL
Does anyone still make headers for a '95 Cutlass LQ1? A .5 ET improvement is impressive, especially since headers really wouldn't negatively affect the overall drivability of the car. WOT-Tech MAY be making them soon, but i can't think of any other company/person that does at the moment.
MonteCarloDude
I know milzy makes them for the gen 1.5, I don't know if you could modify them to work on the 1st gens. I'm guessing you would have to hack the firewall up a lot. If they don't fit you could always get a full exhaust and port your manifolds and downpipe. I'm sure that would be a nice gain, I have seen the stock manifolds and DP before porting and after, It does help a lot. http://www.overkillengineeringmotorsports.com/wbody-exhaust1.html
