Strange... Quote

He's not smart enough to be a Mechanic, so he searches Google for people whenever they ask a question...real good job... Quote

Strange... An AC pressure sensor malfunction would screw up idle, if the switch were shorting out and sporatically sending info to the ecm that the compressor is on/off/on/off? Quote

Right, I know that. Same thing for the more common problem, the Power Steering Pressure Switch, going ON, OFF, ON, OFF etc. But the point still stands, the idiot that answered is just WAY off in what he's trying to come across as saying... 92turboLE Posted September 24, 2003 Report Posted September 24, 2003 although it wouldnt surprise me if this was acurate. I had a similar problem with but it was all cause and effect. My water temp sensor was malfunctioning and reading -3200 celcius according to the scantool i had hooked up... i would get about 3mpg when it actually ran and it was causing codes to be thrown, like O2 sensor codes and 2 others, i dont remember... but it was all consiquent of the water temp sensor. - Justin Quote
