3.1cutlass
So the other day I hit a pothole to China on 70. Now anytime i hit a bump with the left tire i get a clunk noise. Jacked up the car and didnt see anything wrong and pushed and pulled on stuff and nothing is loose. Put car back on ground and when i pull up on the car i can hear the sound slightly. Tie rods, springs, struts are all under 6 months old, but like i said nothing was loose. Any ides?

3.1cutlass
BJ Wouldn't i feel some movement when pushing and pulling on the wheel at 12&6 with a ball joint? Honestly it feels like the spring unloading pressure. its really weird.

I don't know if this is true for the w-body, but if you are able to move the grease nipple with ease, the ball joints will be toast as well. Our balljoints will make a lot of ruckus and have barely any play. Pull them off the vehicle and they are much looser. Get a prybar in between the knuckle and the control arm and pry will also show you the amount of play on the balljoint. And you sure you didnt blow a strut and/or strut mount?? Ok well there was no movement no matter what i did. No I am not. I hope its not the strut since the damn things are pretty much new. Judging by the sound i don't think its the strut. Mount is a possibility.
3.1cutlass
Turns out the nut on top of the strut housing that holds the strut into the housing came loose.
