supertrick_05 Posted February 22, 2010 Report Posted February 22, 2010 This is one picture that I doctor'd up in Photoshop to see what the final result of the Grand Prix will look like. I always do this beforehand to all of the cars I modify so I have something to work with to achieve the look I originally wanted. Here is my Grand Prix in the "concept" phase: The only things I've done to the picture is debadge, clean up the missing paint on front wheel flare and door cladding, shave door lock, lowered and put 18's on it. Euro Posted February 22, 2010 Report Posted February 22, 2010 FR500's? Really like how those look Quote
supertrick_05 Posted February 22, 2010 Author Report Posted February 22, 2010 Thanks guys...I hope the car ends up looking exactly like that. I know that Mustang wheels will fit the W-Bodies (not perfectly, but close enough to work with the right lug tightening method and hubcentric rings) and I've always loved the FR500 wheels, so I chopped them on a picture of my car and I fell head over heels in love. douellette Posted February 23, 2010 Report Posted February 23, 2010 very nice, didnt know photoshop could do things like that haha...ive never used it Quote
jeremy Posted February 23, 2010 Report Posted February 23, 2010 you should be able to get it looking like that in one weekend and for very cheap!! Quote
KingVee Posted February 23, 2010 Report Posted February 23, 2010 Pretty nice!!! From a personal taste point of view, I'd probably get an inch smaller and more meat on them - give it a more circuit racing look to it. Quote
supertrick_05 Posted February 24, 2010 Author Report Posted February 24, 2010 I was thinking of maybe 17's on the car, but I'd like to see a Grand Prix or an early W-body with 17's on it first to compare. I had 17's on my '00 Regal GSE and they were awesome. Quote
supreme_style21 Posted February 25, 2010 Report Posted February 25, 2010 i generally hate black rims, but those look pretty slick matched up there ! BTW, do you drive the school bus just for fun? Kidding kidding Quote
mediabandit Posted February 25, 2010 Report Posted February 25, 2010 These are 17's on my '91 Z34.... and the car is not lowered either btw. Quote

RobertISaar Posted March 3, 2010 Report Posted March 3, 2010 those are similair looking to the stock 3rd gen camaro IROC wheels right? not really. the IROC wheels have fairly thick spokes and don't have any taper to them. Quote
GnatGoSplat Posted March 3, 2010 Report Posted March 3, 2010 Guess I've been spending too much time lurking on import car forums because I was gonna suggest you go bigger! Looks good though. 17" looks way too small to me these days so I'd stick to 18" or go bigger. Quote
jeremy Posted March 3, 2010 Report Posted March 3, 2010 17" looks way too small to me these days so I'd stick to 18" or go bigger. agree 110% Quote
