mmltml
I'm sure that there are about a thousand threads on this, but for some reason I can't find what I am looking for. Could someone please make a list of everything I would need to swap a L67 into a 1995 monte z34. LQ1. OBD 1.5. Thanks.

Addicted to eaton
what im saying is it would be cost efficient to get a wrecked 3800 monte. then swap the hd parts from a 4t65e-hd over. (you can buy the hd stuff on club gp for 100-120$) 400-800$ in a wrecked monte. top swap it 250$, and you good to go.
mmltml
Yeah dumb post. Sorry guys. But yeah, I was planning on a 4t65e-hd. I've heard that I need to fabricate a drivers side axle, but I've also heard that I don't. Do I only need to if its the non HD?
Addicted to eaton
im not 100 percent. But i would just run 4t65e axles in the car... unless you Really gonna mod the motor.
mmltml
But motor mounts, wiring harness/computer from 98/99 monte 3800. Motor mounts? Isn't it a direct bolt-in?

I've considered that, but it is immaculate for its age, so not a beater. In reality, I guess I could buy a newer one with the 3800, but cosmetically it would most likely be a pretty big cosmetic downgrade. I'm just sick of the zero upgrades for this engine/year. xtremerevolution
I'm in the same boat as you. I'll be swapping an L67 in place of this Series 1 3800 since it has absolutely no aftermarket and aside from higher ratio rocker arms, everything I've done has been custom.
