runt
I can help you there!!! VVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVV I wish!! There is a WS6 for sale up the road from my house that I'd LOVE to pickup, but I don't have room for a third car.
RobertISaar
I should take a video of my Regal's exhaust so you guys can hear it. The Series 1 3800 sounds nothing like the Series 2. They are very different motors. I'll probably do it tomorrow. S1 cam and S2 cam are WAY different, which that alone can account for a lot of the change... xtremerevolution
This probably doesn't help this partcular case, but I figured I'd post it anyway. This is what a Series 1 3800 sounds like with a CAI, 1.8 ratio roller rockers, ported LIM, ported UIM insert, no resonator, 2.5" pipe, and a magnaflow muffler. I like it, but I think it's a tad too lifeless, I like a little more rasp - might just be your camera. But anyway, it doesn't really help. What do you suggest, that he swaps a Series I in? Nah, I'm going to suggest the GMPP mufflers as previously noted, or a magnaflow if he doesn't mind the drone. Otherwise, keep it stock. The flow isn't bad. The camera microphone isn't too great. There's a bit more rasp than you can hear in there. The magnaflow muffler does drone it out a lot though. I wonder what it would sound like with a chambered muffler. KingVee
If only there were more Dynomax Ultraflo sound clips out there for 3800's... This could help my decision... I like the GMPP, I don't know if it's as loud as I wish it would be, but there's no way in fucking hell I'm paying 600$ for an exhaust...
