xtremerevolution Posted February 12, 2010 Report Posted February 12, 2010 Real quick, does anyone know the torque specification for the bolts on the 4T60E side cover? Also, is there a specific tightening pattern? I seem to have misplaced my haynes manual... Quote
Night Fury Posted February 12, 2010 Report Posted February 12, 2010 Are there nuts AND bolts holding the trans side cover on? My thing says: Install the case side cover pan. Install the gasket. Install the bolts. Tighten Tighten the bolts to 11 N·m (97 lb in). Tighten Tighten the nuts to 8 N·m (71 lb in). There are no patterns shown Quote

Doesn't matter who it is, I like to be 100% sure before I go off tightening bolts that need to support half the engine and transmission's weight. Quote
