thatcutteeboy
Hey guys, I was in my local yard and I was looking at different cars and spring codes. I seen a 1993 Regal with a RFK code. My question is, is it possible that this could raise the rear of my vert? My present spring code RDk.

GOT2B GM
lower the front.
xtremerevolution
lower the front. That doesn't change the now weakened spring in the back, which doesn't provide enough support over bumps and can easily bottom out. Not to mention its more prone to cracking if it hasn't already. thatcutteeboy
pic of current sag on the cutty? I don't know if it's sagging or not I just want it up a little. Both pics in my sig are of my car even though the color looks different.

If you are deadset on lifting the rear, i'd get a custom Birchmount leaf.

I got them from Advance where I work. They are the TRW ones. They didn't seem to do anything at all.

White93z34
Seems there have always been 2 types of people on this forum... Those whos back end sat way high, and those whos sat way low plain and simple a lot of the springs on these cars suck the 88-91ish springs seem to be the best at not sagging. Both my z34s sagged, and the spring was never cracked. I now have a 90' Grand prix spring in the back of mine and it sits maybe a little too high now I can't win! What is the code on it? Do you think it would be worth trying the one off the regal coupe from my previous post?

I'm not eating up tires, so I don't think it's abnormal. I'm sure the monoleaf is sagging a little, but not enough to be a problem. Honestly, unless you're chewing tires up, I'd just leave it. But if you don't like the way it looks, then by all means swap her out.

Where on the spring can you check the code just by laying under the car? It's on one or the other end by the knuckle. It's stamped into the fiberglass as well as the part number. The codes from the site were odm odk, odn. Could the car have any one of these as a option?
