I want to add a list of acronyms and their meanings to the new site design, to help all the newbies learn how we communicate around here.

Some examples are:

B4U

B4M

STE

TGP

FE3

etc.

I'm looking for help in this, I don't know them all. So post up the acronyms and their meanings that you know and I'll put them all together for the new site!

Some of these reused and vary from model to model, so I'll give these as I know (related to Grand Prixs).

B4U = The 91-96 "wide body" aero kit available on GTP's and higher optioned SE's

B4M = The 89-90 Turbo Grand Prix-specific aero kit. Included composite headlights rather than sealed beam "mini quads".

STE = Special Touring Edition. Trim level that ran from 1990-1993 on the Pontiac Grand Prix. Included upgraded interior trim (seats, door panels), specific stereo systems, and specific trunk panel applique. In 1990 was available with the 3.1 Turbocharged V6 as an option.

TGP = Turbo Grand Prix. Limited edition trim level from 1989 to 1990. Included model-specific aero body kit as well as an Intercooled Turbocharged 3.1L V6 modified by ASC/McLaren. HUD was specific and only available in the TGP. Custom gauge cluster. Custom transmission and cooler (4T60-HD)

FE3 = Performance suspension. Typically included the stiffest spring rates and biggest sway bars.

CSC = Cutlass Supreme Convertible.

L67 = RPO code for the 3.8 Supercharged V6.

LG5 = RPO code for the 3.1 Intercooled Turbocharged V6.

LQ1 = RPO code for the 3.4 DOHC 24-Valve V6.

LH0 = RPO code for the 3.1L MPFI V6 (1989-1993, 1990-1994 in Luminas).

284 = Refers to the Getrag 284 5-speed transaxle available from 1991-1993 in LQ1-equipped Grand Prix, Cutlass Supreme and Lumina.

282 = Refers to the Getrag 282 5-speed transaxle available from 1988-1990 in Grand Prix and Cutlass Supreme.

Z34 = Trim level available on the 1991-1994 Lumina and the 1995-1999 Monte Carlo. From 1991-1994 included the 3.4 DOHC V6 and specific aero body kit and spoiler. Z34-specific decals. 1995-1997 included the 3.4L DOHC V6 as well as minor exterior modifications. 1998-1999 included the 3800 Series II V6.

AQ9 - Most commonly used to describe the 88-93 Grand Prix Pneumatic seats

AND Cutlass Supreme seats, uncertain if the years match, they may have gone up to 1994.
