xtremerevolution Posted February 4, 2010 Report Posted February 4, 2010 okay thanks now just to make sure i would ground the black and touch the red to the positive Yep. You can also test this with an old computer power supply if you have one lying around. Those also output 12V via the 4-pin molex connector. I've used a computer power supply to charge a car battery before. Fun stuff. Quote
jake91 Posted February 4, 2010 Author Report Posted February 4, 2010 oops just went out and looked at it i was mistaken it has 5 wires. i havent looked at it in 3 months LOL does anyone know what ones i test it has 2 black 2 white 1 orange Quote
GOT2B GM Posted February 4, 2010 Report Posted February 4, 2010 my guess would be that orange is a constant 12v supply for using the switch on the domelight. The blacks are grounds and one white is a 12V feed from the door pins, the other from the headlight/dome switch Quote
GOT2B GM Posted February 4, 2010 Report Posted February 4, 2010 ground the black wires and touch the whites to positive, it should come on Quote
jake91 Posted February 4, 2010 Author Report Posted February 4, 2010 it works now what does one of these go for? Quote
