I'd like to go through and replace all the main power wires under the hood of Precious (to alt/starter/jump point battery/etc)

 

What gauge of wire should I use?

I would say use 2 guage. Summit has some nice kits for cheap. Just make sure the wire you use has alot of strands in it. More is better
