BXX
Yup, nothing like getting on the Ohio Turnpike and realizing your doing 75 with no TCC lockup That was how my afternoon started.. While driving im racking my brain on the diag steps that could cause it to suddenly not work. -Fluid level.... nope, trans isnt in limp mode, shift 1-2, 2-3, 3-4 perfectly -Overheat..... nope, its 20 degrees outside and I just got in the car aboot 3 miles prior to hitting I80 -Brake Pedal... I dont have it pressed down any. I lifted up on the pedal.... And theres my TCC lockup So fuckin cold the brake pedal was kinda sticky causing the brake switch to be just barely activated and the PCM to think I was hitting the brakes.. And before you ask, yes, cruise control was working!!

[/quote'] It was the only time it did that.. At least I know if it does it again just to lift up right away.. I havent looked at the wiring of the switch, but the signal for cruise inhibit must be seperate from the brake input to the PCM to unlock TCC, cause like I said, my cruise control was working perfect

GOT2B GM
Could it be that the trans temp just wasn't warm enough for TCC to engage? My cutty doesn't lock up for the first 10 mins on a cold day.

BXX
Could it be that the trans temp just wasn't warm enough for TCC to engage? My cutty doesn't lock up for the first 10 mins on a cold day. It normally does that for a few minutes, but it was plenty warm enough as I was aboot 10 miles down the turnpike and still no TCC. The very moment I lifted on the brake pedal, TCC engaged.
