BXX
Taxes coming back really soon, and I wanna buy a wideband setup. Havent in the past cause I dont want a guilt trip by my GF for spending $250+ on something she deems stupid. Im leaning towards the NGK AFx setup. http://www.ngk.com/afx/ I remember reading some reviews in the past and every one was very positive on the AFx setup. I know alot of people who have the Innovative LC1 setup. And a lot of reviews seem to follow their reports of inaccuracy, even with proper calibration, and quick loss of calibration. I will be datalogging with this (custom set PID using EGR wiring ) so I expect good accuracy and I dont wanna have to keep recalibrating all the damn time. The other option would be the AEM UEGO wideband. http://www.aempower.com/ViewCategory.aspx?CategoryID=67 Anyone here actually have experience with a wideband setup?? RobertISaar
ForcedFirebird of 60V6/TGO/FTV6 made his own setup for less than ~100 IIRC...
BXX
ForcedFirebird of 60V6/TGO/FTV6 made his own setup for less than ~100 IIRC... link? and how? a wideband o2 sensor on its own is over $100.. and not real interested in a diy solution especially when i will be using it with hp tuners to tune vehicles other than mine, so error isnt really much of an option
RobertISaar
http://60degreev6.com/forum/f121/home-made-wb-controller-kinda-t43861 shouldn't be any error to it other than the sensor itself...
Garrett Powered
trying to get help on the innovate site for one of the $200 controller/sensors. found out I am not the only one which was to be expected. researching there is depressing seeing the fate of the consumer though. the lc1 is supposed to be a good wb. I got the one that came installed on my 88 and it shows up perfect on tunerpro. nobody on innovate forum seems to care or if they do have not heard about this. here check out my attempt. http://www.innovatemotorsports.com/forums/showthread.php?t=11975 I cant get my car to run at all with it hooked up. I am having a shop look at it right now and considering ordering a different brand of wideband controller with better customer service. they do not answer calls or return messages. look around the LC-1 section and around the whole site in general. its crazy over there.
