radman3120
intake looks real good. have any of you ever used the water bypass valves? do they seem to work as described? here is my battery: left side is drilled through and bolted. right side has a small tab welded on which protrudes slightly over the spare tire well. EDIT: my engine bay doesn't look any different because i didn't make the intake yet
pontiacmaniac94
Looks good! I'd like to mount my battery sideways so I can get a CAI going on. I don't want to do the whole "battery re-locating" crap. If I saw some pictures of cars that have it re-located (engine bay AND the re-located spot), it may sway my mind... talk to Aweb, he has his battery relocated to the trunk in his 94....and if it is on Aweb's car, you know it looks good. wait, scratch that, it doesn't look good, it looks DAMN good. Regal_GS_1989
but i did find it interesting that walmart does sell a 10guage jumper wire set They do work in a pinch....Just don't expect to be able to hook up and crank. You need to let the other vehicle run for about 10 minutes or so when they are hooked up to charge up the dead battery. I also have a set of jumper cables that are about 20 feet long that are made out of 0 gauge cabling. Heavy as fuck, but they work great.
