swift13
somebody probably sold him precut camaro trim for that price, its not that hard to get from the yard i see those things all the time. and it cost next to nothing
tdvs
somebody probably sold him precut camaro trim for that price, its not that hard to get from the yard i see those things all the time. and it cost next to nothing The Camaro/Firebird weatherstrips are just clipped on. No pop rivets to remove at the j/y. When installing them on a vert, they can be pop riveted on as original or you can use small screws. On the previous vert I had, one side had been replaced at some point and it was screwed on. The outer trim covers that part of the weatherstrip so it doesn't matter which method you use. swift13
thats what i mean all you gotta do is pull really hard on them and they come off you can then choose to rivet or screw them in place

jake63
I'm the guy that came up with the camaro/firechicken solution. I apologize for the pics going away but "weatherguys" or something like that was using them to sell J/Y weatherstrips for ridiculous money on ebay. I posted that stuff to help people not to help some prick capitalize on it. I'm glad someone saved the pics so it can be used for what it was intended.
