GPRACER
I really lucked into this one! I came across a brand new never used Eaton blower from a ford t-bird 3.8sc. I've got the throttle body and the plumbing as well. I doub't it if I'll be able to use it on the W. I was thinking of using it on my small block dodge, almost the same compression ratio as the ford. 8.4 vs 8.2 in the ford. 12psi boost too... any ideas? gp90se
make it work on the w-body, build an aluminum box for the s/c to sit on and attach to the lower intake manifold.... if ya can weld, it can be done. -Jeff
Bolt_Crank
might have to modify the hood a bit... but it could probably work
Redfox340
might have to modify the hood a bit... but it could probably work And the ECM... And the vacuum lines... And the throttle linkage... And the intake manfold... And... well, you get the point... - Erik

GPRACER
I'm gonna try to fabricate a custom upper intake for the 3400 I'm in the process of building, prolly gonna need different pistons though to lower the compression ratio. I think the biggest challenge will be the pcm though. Throttle linkage is only a joke seeing as how I've got the factory ford stuff to go by. I may have to change the S/C pully 12 psi may be a little high for a mostly stock rebuild.
slick
I've thought about taking the 3800 supercharger and somehow making it work on my 3100. I was thinking about modifying the upper intake manifold, but I also got to think that it is aluminum, am I right? The reason for that is because i was wanting to weld it on there, after I got it fabricated for my needs, but from what I understand, welding aluminum is hard. That is the only problem I have with my project that I've thought about, the rest I've figured out. Any suggestions?

Well, space is one concern if you're only dealing with the upper. You'll want to pull the upper intake and modify the lower intake manifold. Along with the ECM... And the vacuum lines... And the serpentine belt location... And... well, you get the point... - Erik
hoodilio
There is some guy on the web, with a custom supercharged 3100 v6 beretta. I forget the link though, mabye somebody else knows it.

slick
Thats how i got the idea. Yeah, i know, clearance is a problem, but theres a white gp at the junkyard, i can get the hood for like $40, no problem there. And like i've said before, i have the rest of the stuff figured out, its just how to get that supercharger to mount on the manifold.
GPRACER
I thought of using the GM style supercharger as well, but the ford has a slight advantage. The output to the engine is at the back of the supercharger, not the bottom. No intake mods should be necessecary, just run pipe to the existing throttle body. I already have an extra hood I'm just gonna cut a hole in it and let one of the bodymen from work do the rest. I don't know shit all about the electronics of supercharging. That's going to be the challenge for me, Any monkey can turn a wrench
