GOT2B GM
Can I get away with just bleeding the two bleeders on the master? Or do I need to bleed all 4 calipers then the master after an accumulator R&R?
White93z34
I believe the write up said to bleed down all 4 wheels and the PM3(i'd check but kenny's site seems to be down atm).I can check my FSM when I get home if you don't have an answer by then
GOT2B GM
Dug out my 91 Cutlass Supreme FSM.... To quote pg 5E-19 Powermaster III Bleeding Notice: "If only a hydraulic part of the Powermaster III unit has been replaced (bleeder valve, relief valve, tube and nut assembly, accumulator, reservoir, solenoid, or pressure switch), and air has not entered the brake lines, it may only be necessary to bleed the Powermaster III Unit by performing an "ABS solenoid Bleed and Checkout test using 94-00101-A or by bleeding the booster section of the powermaster III unit at the bleeder valves"
GOT2B GM
ok got it done. Highlights Accumulator has to be rolled in and out of the car, under the pm3, behind the trans and out beside the tie rod in the fender well. Doing this I broke off my very fragile and rusted power steering pressure switch......so now the car idles 500 rpm higher than it should. The passenger side brake bleeder on the master is a bastard. My fingers hurt from taking the lid off of the reservoir multiple times (PM3 owners will know what i'm taking about). But MAN does this thing haul down now. Special thanks to Chris DiNunzio for assisting in the ordering / delivery process.
mfewtrail
Sounds like it's easier to throw an accumulator in a TGP vs. a LQ1/PMIII car. Did you put a GM unit on there or some other?

mfewtrail
OEM GM unit I purchased off of Amazon Is some vendor selling those or did you luck out and find a one time deal?
GOT2B GM
So...my brakes still click and give me all sorts of crazy pedal feedback. Maybe a pressure switch. Doesn't help that the asshat that sold me the car pulled the brake and ABS bulbs in the cluster. I'm not going to screw with this anymore till spring. I should get the thing scanned and see what codes it is giving. Unless it stops stopping and I total it off.
