19Cutlass94 Posted December 26, 2009 Report Posted December 26, 2009 If anyone here has, can you tell me where you hooked yours up? Something Im looking to do, and would like a little imput on this. Thanks. Quote
sl3196 Posted December 27, 2009 Report Posted December 27, 2009 On my gtp I did both. The trans temp went right on top of the trans, there was a little port for it. Had to take off a little cap to see it I believe. The oil pressure went right where the dummy sender was, right above where the oil filter goes. Quote
slick Posted December 27, 2009 Report Posted December 27, 2009 The 4t60e will be the exact same spot for the trans temp. Quote
19Cutlass94 Posted December 27, 2009 Author Report Posted December 27, 2009 On top of the trans as in by the exhuast x-over or behind the block Quote
slick Posted December 28, 2009 Report Posted December 28, 2009 It's been a while, but basically underneath the throttle body and intake setup. It's just a metal plug that's on the top of the transmission. Quote
19Cutlass94 Posted December 28, 2009 Author Report Posted December 28, 2009 Thanks! Ill have to look for it. Any idea on the thread size off-hand? Quote
slick Posted December 28, 2009 Report Posted December 28, 2009 No clue. I do remember someone asking within the last year or two, and then installing it. I'm sure if you search long enough, the answer will pop up. Quote
mfewtrail Posted December 28, 2009 Report Posted December 28, 2009 " Line Pressure Test Plug 1/8 - 27 NPTF" That's 65-E, but they're exactly the same size as the 60-E as far as I know. Quote
19Cutlass94 Posted December 28, 2009 Author Report Posted December 28, 2009 Thanks for the help guys!!! Quote
